CHRISTIANS ARE MORE THAN CONQUERORS

The ugly death of our Lord Jesus on the cross, burial, and resurrection made all of us Christians more than conquerors. Imagine this, Jesus took our shame, suffered for us and redeemed us to have the hope of eternal life. In this way, He showed that He was victorious over death. Death and evil have not stopped Jesus to prove He was Great God and above all of these. The hope given to all Christians coming from His resurrection shows how we can be worthy to be called God’s children. Our sincere obedience and strong faith in God makes us more than conquerors and death, pain and suffering cannot stop us like our Lord Jesus Christ. James 1:2-4 says; “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing” (NKJV). Our world’s trouble and pains are nothing to bother and hinder us dedicated followers of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Apostle Paul said in Romans 8:31; “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” Our God is on our side and no one can destroy us. What a comforting word that no one can go against us if we are with God. Verse 38-39 “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (NKJV). This tells us that no one can separate us from our God when we always cling on to Him. His providential care will always be upon His children given with a promise to be in Heaven eternally.

Are you a conqueror? If not, follow and obey our Lord’s call for salvation and enjoy peace, love, and hope that one day we will be with Him in Heaven forever.
