Wonderful blessings come to those who obey the gospel of Christ.Through baptism we receive the remission of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit (reference – Acts 2:38-39). On Sunday 30th October,2016, Mya Mackey-Boehner, of the Mill Village Church family, received these gifts when she gave her life to the Lord. The occasion was a joyous and momentous one. Here are some pictures from the event.
As “Iron Sharpens Iron” , a phrase which can be found in Proverbs 27:17, in Christian fellowship, Christians sharpen each other’s faith and stir one another to exercise that faith in love and good works, all to the honour and glory of God .

Death is a subject mankind avoids like a plague, but comes to us all. What death has done for our friends, he will surely do for us. Each one of us can say with Job, “For I know that you will bring me to death and to the house appointed for all living” (Job 20:23). Some of us may die sooner than others, but all at last will hear his call. It’s appointed unto man once to die, but after this, the judgment (Heb 9:27). We are marching in a great procession toward the grave, judgment and eternity! Our childhood found us the very essence of strength and vigor, but today our faces are wrinkled, our hair is turning gray or balding, and steps that once were quick and lively have slowed their pace. Soon those once strong and beautiful bodies will perish in the grave and go back to…
